Hi I'm Valerie

I prefer pens over pencils. I aspire to writing laffy taffy jokes. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 23 and as with every year of my life, this is the best one yet. I like to live life full out and full speed (why not pretend we have 25 hours in a day?) I eat yogurt on anything and have yet to grow out of climbing trees. I am an unapologetic optimist. If you tell me I can't do something- you'd better move over and watch me do it. Laughing is always the solution.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I like answers. I love feeling peace. In this church I have found peace to be the greatest answer. I have prayed to know if this church was where God wants me. His answer was peace when I was at church. The Plan of Salvation taught in this church makes so much sense to me and feels right. When I read from the Book of Mormon I am happier and more Christlike. If the Book of Mormon wasn't from God, it wouldn't work that way.

How I live my faith

I think about all the things I am grateful for each day. I do my best to give others moments to be grateful for as well.

What blessings can we receive through the gift of the Holy Ghost?

Valerie
Happiness! Yep it sounds cliche... but its what we are all in pursuit of right? Peace in your soul, Love for others, patience, safety, understanding/clarity, being guided to where you need to be at a certain time, better family relationships, and comfort. It really is all that and more. This is how Heavenly Father can take you by the hand and help you in every aspect of your life on earth. I am so grateful that I have been given the gift of the Holy Ghost who is my best friend- He always knows how to have fun and be happy in this life and the next. Show more Show less
