Hi I'm Arika

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I have been married for 10 years and we have 4 children. I graduated with a degree in English, my husband graduated with a degree in History and is working on his master's degree. He currently serves in the United States Army. I love to read, write, workout and cook (especially bake).

Why I am a Mormon

When I was in high school a friend of mine invited me to several of the young adult activities. They were fun and I always felt different when I was there. Something about it felt really good and I knew it was something I wanted to learn more about. When I got into to college I really wanted to attend church somewhere so I started doing my own search for one and remembered that I had some interest in the LDS church in high school. I started taking classes with the LDS Institute so that I could learn more about the Book of Mormon. The Institute passed my number along to the missionaries who taught me about the church. I was baptized just a couple weeks after that. It has made such an amazing impact on my life. Living the Gospel and being a member of His church has helped me in all aspects of my life. Decision making, raising our children etc. I truly love this Gospel and I hope to never be with out it. I've been a member for 11 wonderful years now.

How I live my faith

I have a calling in church where I teach one Sunday a month, I visit sisters in my ward, attend the temple and attend church each Sunday. I enjoy getting to know everyone at church and becoming a family.
