Hi I'm Kaolee

I'm an auditor. I love to shop. I love food, especially hot wings. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife to an amazing guy who is tall (relatively), dark (depends on the season) and handsome (questionable, jk). I'm an auditor for a small accounting firm. I love to shop (Ann Taylor Loft, The Limited, H&M, etc). I can spend a whole day at the mall, easy. My husband as well as my friends can attest to that. I love reading blogs and taking a peak into people's lives and their views and how they do things. I love hanging out with friends and playing board games. I enjoy running, when I do run. Sometimes it's hard to get motivated to get out there, but I never regret that I went running. I love watching television shows, including my all time favorite, The Golden Girls!!! I enjoy good food, although cooking is a real drag. That amazing guy that I referred to above does most of the cooking. We enjoy watching cooking shows together and hanging out with each other.

Why I am a Mormon

I didn't grow up going to Church. I didn't start going to Church until I was almost 20. When I first started taking the missionary lessons and going to Church, my life changed. I met people who helped me through tough times. My faith grew. My marriage got better. My outlook on life changed. There is hope through Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I'm currently the Ward Employment Specialist. I help members who are in need of a job or who wants to get a better job. In the past, I've taught the youth, anywhere from 2-year-olds to 15-year-olds. It's amazing to see how much they know and understand, especially the younger ones. The older ones have been such great examples. They have such great faith and it's refreshing to be around them. I also visit teach a couple of the sisters. Once a month, we try to make contact with them and to fellowship. Some of the sisters that I've visit taught are some of my closest friends. I also have two amazing ladies that come visit teach me. They always come with chocolates, scriptures or little gifts. They seem to know the right things to say to motivate me when I'm feeling down. I remember when I was studying for the CPA Exam and they brought all these little office supplies (notepads, pens, tabs, etc) to help me take notes and keep my places in my books. I also received one of the most incredible quote that I still have on my fridge! I'm so grateful to be able to serve and for those who've served me. The members are like family to me. I am grateful for their love and kindness.
