Hi I'm Diane and I'm disabled

I'm a Mormon. I can not imagine a day without the gospel of Jesus Christ and I will always be grateful for it.

About Me

I once was a junior high school art teacher that loved her students and enjoyed bringing them new experiences or helping them to think in a different way. I love music, and plants and have quite a few.

Why I am a Mormon

After I graduated from high school, it didn't seem to me that the Lord was present when I was in church. That really confused me especially since I would be in church by myself, and feel the spirit of the Lord there. But when I went on a Sunday, He didn't seem to be there. Several years later when I was pregnant with my second child, and the MS was raging, I was reading a pamphlet from this church and I knew that what I was reading was true. After investigating the church, I was baptized and received the greatest gift possible, the Holy Ghost. I know that the Lord guides and directs this church and there is peace and comfort in obeying Him. He helped me to realize the way to be happy even when you have much less control than you would like. I have learned so much through being a member of this church, I feel His love and concern for me every day, and I am so grateful. I am a Mom that has watched her daughters and sons-in-law benefit greatly by being active, and raise their children with the help of the gospel. Being a parent isn't always easy, but the programs that are a vital part of this church, are very helpful and a great source of strength and guidance. I invite everyone to read the Book of Mormon, test the Lord and find out for yourself if this is the true church of Christ. I promise you that He will answer if you ask with real intent. Keep your heart open, because He will answer.

How I live my faith

I am as active as I can be, but my faith is always in my heart. I love the Lord and know with every fiber of my being that He loves me, He doesn't lie and whenever you make a promise to God, He will NOT go back on His promises to you.
