Hi I'm Paul

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Cleveland Ohio, am retired and live in Spokane, WA.

About Me

I am retired and love to golf and fish. I keep busy with volunteer work. Have 6 grandkids and 3 great grandkids, with 2 more on the way. We live in the country and spend lots of time gardening and just watching God's handiwork with sunrises and sunsets. The stars at night are great to watch. Saw a satellite go over last night, kind of neat. I am married for 51 years to a wonderful woman who loves to garden. She stores many of her fruits and veggies and loves to cook.

Why I am a Mormon

Because the church is true and teaches so many good standards. I first read the Book of Mormon and then went looking for the church to join. Myself and my family joined at the same time. Has been the best thing I have ever done. Prior to joining the church we did not attend any church. It was a real learning experience to participate in many wholesome activities. Being asked to help with projects is very fulfilling for me. Our first calling in the church was to head up a road show - lots of acting, singing and dancing. We knew/know nothing about theater but members helped and shared. Results were great.

How I live my faith

Simply helping others and serving others. There is great joy in doing "good deeds" for others. I volunteer with a group that helps people find their way to the BEST health insurance for them. We don't sell insurance just advise. Very rewarding being helpful to senior community.
