Hi I'm Tera

I am a native Arizonan and a mother of six. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother, and homemaker. I love my family. I am thankful for my husband's employment that allows me to stay home with our children. I try to provide them with meaningful experiences, from music to sports, that will help them grow into responsible adults and be positive contributors to society.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the teachings of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ are true. God as answered my prayers, through the Holy Spirit, regarding its truthfulness many times throughout my life. I know God lives and He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to atone for my sins. Through faith in Jesus Christ, repenting of my sins, and living the teachings of His Gospel, I can be cleansed from my sins and return to live with my Heavenly Father. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and was called to restore the Church of Jesus Christ in these last days. By keeping the covenants I have made in a holy temple of God I can live with my family forever in His presence. This is my greatest desire.

How I live my faith

I read from the scriptures and talk to Heavenly Father in prayer every day, both individually, and as a family. Once a week we spend a night together as a family where we share a Gospel lesson and do a fun activity. I volunteer in my children's school classes and organize a women's fitness class. One Sunday a month I teach the adult women of the Church a lesson. This is one of my favorite things to do I as grow spiritually, not only from preparing the lesson, but also from listening to experiences others share during the lesson. I have learned so much from other women in the Church who have been where I am at in my life.
