Hi I'm Barry

I was converted to the gospel as a 20-yr old adult in college just before marrying my wife. We were taught & joined together.

About Me

I have lived my adult life as a Mormon or Latter-day Saint with my wife. We have been actively engaged in the church the entire time since baptism in 1975. I'm an electronics engineer and live in Berthoud, Colorado. I have 3 children and 6 grandkids. I'm so grateful to God for the gospel in our lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I felt the love of God when I started and the power of that love propels me each day. The doctrine is constantly being confirmed by the Holy Ghost so I know all of this is true. I see hand of Jesus Christ in my life and the life of my children and grandchildren constantly and consistently. I have always enjoyed the instruction that comes church attendance and feel privileged to be taught by modern-day prophets and apostles.

How I live my faith

I attend church each Sunday to feel spiritual renewal and connection with other members. I serve my family and other members in regular actions. I teach in Sunday school as needed. I study and ponder the Bible, Book of Mormon and modern-day scriptures. I pray several times each day as the need arises especially to thank God as I see His hand in my daily activities. I fast regularly and when there are special needs for others or myself. I have found these elements to be the foundation of my spiritual strength.
