Hi I'm Sylvia

I'm a Mormon. I work in a library, I have four children and 12 grandchildren.

About Me

I love reading, hiking, biking, dancing, art, and talking with people. I would travel all the time if I had the money. I'm married, I have two sons and two daughters. There is also a cat in my house that drives me crazy. Personally I prefer dogs. Oh yes, I have 12 grandkids. I think that might mean that I'm incredibly old. I can't understand how that happened. Oh! The most important thing is that I have a sense of humor and I love to laugh!

Why I am a Mormon

Both sets of my great grandparents joined the church in the 1800s. I was born into a family whos life was centered around the Gospel of Jesus christ. For many years the fact that my parents, grandparents, and great grandparents believed was enough for me. As the years passed and I went out on my own. The world threw out many questions to me and I found that I had to know for myself. Mistakes were made, and I put repentance to the test. I found, and continue to find that through the atonement of my Savior I can have the peace and hope that I need to continue on each day. I have found that the road to happiness comes from living the principles of the Gospel that I was taught as a child. I can't imagine my life without the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I hope to endure to the end.

How I live my faith

I attend church faithfully. I have served in many assignments. I have spent most of my years teaching the Youth of the church. Outside the church I work in my town library as the volunteer coordinator. I have the opportunity to help people every day of my life, and try to approach each situation with Christ like love and undertstanding. I have many friends in and out of the Church. I try to teach by example.
