Hi I'm Blair

I'm a Family Physician, I'm a "Mac" and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married for more than twenty years and have three kids. I grew up in Utah but moved to California after my mission to go to school and stayed there for several years. I started medical school in my late 30's and ended up in Arizona for residency. My wife and I decided that this would be a good place to raise our family and start a medical practice. I recently started riding a motorcycle again after more than 30 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church and believed the things I was taught but didn't really gain my own testimony of the Gospel until, at age 15, I first prayed earnestly to find out if what I had been taught was true. I remember kneeling by my bed and receiving a spiritual witness in my heart that Joseph Smith had been visited by our Heavenly Father and his Son, our brother, Jesus Christ. At that moment I knew that the Lord had restored his Church through Joseph Smith. I also knew that if Joseph Smith's story was true then the Book of Mormon had to be true. From that point on my testimony has grown and continues to grow, as the scriptures say, "line upon line and precept upon precept".

How I live my faith

I just try every day to be the best person that I can be. I make a lot of mistakes but I try to learn from them so I don't have to repeat them too many times. I currently teach the 13-14 year old class in Sunday School.
