Hi I'm Scott

I am 29 years old. I grew up in Arizona. I am an Eagle Scout. I am a husband and father of 2 children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to my wonderful wife and we are doing the best we can raising a son and a daughter. I spent two years in Chile as a missionary. I enjoy playing golf and basketball any chance that I can. I'm a statistical analyst for a regional bank.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in The Book of Mormon. I have seen that book change many lives, the most important being mine. I have read it. I read it as a teenager and I felt the Spirit testify the truthfulness of the teachings that are found in the book. It truly testifies of Christ. More importantly, I followed the promise that is found at the end of The Book of Mormon and asked through prayer if the teachings were true, and I felt a reassuring peace. I love the teachings of eternal families. I love my wife with all my heart, as I love my children. I don't want our time together limited to death do us part.

How I live my faith

I volunteer through church work with the 12-13 year old young men and help in the Scout Troop. We go on Scouting activities to help these young men build their character and learn essential skills. Scouting played an important role in shaping me into the person I am today and I hope to be able to share these experiences with the young men that I have the opportunity to volunteer with. Within our family, we love to sing, study and pray together. We set aside one night each week just so we can do all of these things as a family and have a lesson about the teachings of Christ.
