Hi I'm Nicole

I'm a Native Arizonan, Dental Hygienist, Mother, and Wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I find much joy in being a stay at home mom and the hustle and bustle of our busy life. My kids keep me busy with Cub Scouts, soccer, lacrosse, homework, laundry and housework. I enjoy exercising, baking (I love sweets and chocolate) and cleaning. (Yes, that's true... I love to clean!) I love pulling out my kids wiggly teeth (I guess that's the Dental Hygienist part of me) and keeping up with my Dental Hygiene Continuing Education. I enjoy date nights with my husband, spending time at the family cabin, and going on vacation.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my family. Family is everything to me. I grew up in Arizona surrounded by many cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. When I was little, the highlight of my week was family dinner at my grandma's house. As an adult, this tradition continues to be a highlight and weekly joy. I'm a Mormon because we believe that families are eternal. We believe that the bonds and relationships that are formed here on this earth will go with us beyond the grave and into the eternities. How wonderful to know and believe that families can be together forever! In the Bible, we read of prophets of old, such as Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel. As Mormons, we also believe in latter-day prophets. We believe that Thomas S. Monson is the prophet on the earth today and he presides as the head of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Through our latter-day prophet, we believe that the Lord continues to guide and direct us, His children. We have the opportunity to hear from him twice a year through a world-wide broadcast. Such comfort and peace comes through modern day revelation. I'm a Mormon because I feel closer to Heavenly Father through knowing and living the Gospel principles; a great sense of purpose and direction come from that. Being a Mormon brings much joy into my life!!!

How I live my faith

I live my Faith each day by trying my best to follow the teachings of our Savior, Jesus Christ and following His commandments. I also live my faith through serving others. There are various ways in which I serve; in my home, neighborhood, community and at church. Each of these ways brings much satisfaction and joy to me. Another way I live my faith is through Family Home Evening. As a family, we have Monday night activities and lessons. These are special times when we can further teach our children the gospel principles while enjoying each other's company. These moments strengthen us and help unify us as a family. In our ward, I currently serve with the Young Women ages 12-18. Working with them helps further strengthen my testimony and is a blessing in my life. Counting my blessings, enjoying the small and simple things, and finding the good in life and others, also helps me live my faith.
