Hi I'm Larry Flake

I grew up on a ranch in northeastern Arizona. I manage an appliance store in Gilbert Arizona. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband ,a father to 3 beautiful children and also a grandfather. My life truly revolves around my wife and my family. We have had the honor of being parents to 3 beautiful children. Each of them have married wonderful people and are doing their best to follow the path of out Savior. This makes us very happy. We currently have 2 wonderful grandsons who light up our lives! We love to travel internationally and have been to England,Greece,France,Canada,Mexico,Hawaii, and many other places throughout the United States.I love to learn about new places, people and cultures.I have found that most people are wonderful and generally want the same things.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the faith but had to come to my own conclusions about the doctrines found in the LDS faith. I did this through personal study and living the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I certainly am not perfect ,but as I try to follow the example of our Savior I find that I am happy and content in my life. I have a certain faith that our Heavenly Father loves us just as much as anyone who has ever lived on this earth. I believe he speaks to us through a living prophet today just as in times of old. I believe the Church of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth today in it's fullness. I am so grateful for this knowledge. The world is a very uncertain place at the moment. Having this knowledge provides me and my family with a strong anchor in a very uncertain world. I feel truly blessed and I am grateful for the many wonderful blessings in my life.

How I live my faith

I have always been willing to serve in the community and in my church. I love to learn and to help others learn. One of the things that I do right now is help set up service assignments for our area congregation. I have been amazed at the willingness of so many people who are happy to give of their time and means to help others. I have found that my own worries and concerns seem to fade away as I serve others.
