Hi I'm Darren

I grew up in Utah, I'm a mountain and road biker, I develop commercial real estate and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have three beautiful young daughters, I love spending time with them and exploring their world! I graduated from BYU in Information Technology. I served a mission to the people of Arequipa Peru for two years. Shortly after returning from my mission, I met and married my wife. It is very fulfilling to me to be out in the mountains experiencing nature on a bike. It's hard to imagine life any happier than I am today with my family. My wife and I strive to live the gospel together and teach our children about the gospel through example. As we draw closer and closer to the Lord our lives are blessed immensely.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I am happiest when I live the gospel of Jesus Christ. In this mortal life, we strive to do the things that make us happy. I am happy living the gospel as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

My responsibility in the gospel is to teach the 14 and 15 year old boys. It is a blessing to experience life with these boys. It is amazing to see them grow and develop when they enter our group at 14 as a young inquisitive boy, and then when they advance to the next age group at 16 to see how they are now young men with strong desires to serve the Lord. I live my faith by trying daily to do those things which will draw me closer to my Savior.
