Hi I'm Pane Meatoga III

I grew up on Oahu's famous North Shore, in a small community called Laie, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing sports, exercising, surfing, reading a good book, cooking, and spending time with my wife and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, but my personal conversion to the church happened when I was about twelve years old. It was during this time in my life that I started to question why I was going to church. I had grown up with the church but I felt that I didn't really know if it was true. So I decided to find out. For my thirteenth birthday I asked my parents to buy me a set of scriptures (Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price) so I could study and research the gospel. My research and study of the scriptures led me to earnestly pray for answers, and through prayer I was able to feel the spirit. Once I felt the spirit confirm to me that the church was true, I have tried my best to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It hasn't been easy, but I know that it's worth it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others and fulfilling my church callings. I have taught young children, young adults, and my peers. I have participated in community service projects, community events, Eagle Scout projects, and Temple service projects.
