Hi I'm Gaylinn

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a "domestic engineer"! I love being a mom and keeping things running smoothly at home. We have 4 children. 2 are in college, 2 still at home. I teach piano lessons. I exercise. I enjoy compiling and organizing family histories. I have a college degree in speech communications and in child development and family relations. I have a teaching minor in French. I taught high school for a few years before marrying.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but that's not why I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I gained my own testimony of the gospel as a teenager through prayer and study. The Holy Ghost bore witness to me that Joseph Smith was truly called of God to restore the truth to the earth. I'm so grateful for the priesthood authority that has been restored to the earth. I'm so grateful for a living prophet and modern revelation. I'm so grateful to be able to share these truths and the plan of salvation and the Book of Mormon with others.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example of the gospel's teachings. I try to love and serve others. I'm as honest as I can be. I honor the priesthood and those who hold it. I revere our living prophet and listen to his words as the words of our Heavenly Father. I try to bring a loving and patient spirit into our home so that I can help our children understand God's will for them. I'm very active at church serving the young women (ages 12-18) and helping them become worthy, faith-filled daughters of God. I also serve by sharing my musical talents.
