Hi I'm Tyler

Hey I'm Tyler, from St. George. Big time basketball fan. Love the Utah Jazz, love to have a good time. I'm a Mormon! Moneytime!

About Me

I am Tyler. I am a huge sports fan especially basketball! Love the Utah Jazz! I will be serving in the Idaho Boise Mission English Speaking for the next 2 years- having a great time so far! Excited to serve the Lord. I went to a year of college before I came out. I love my family very much and they mean the whole world to me. I'm a very easy going guy, love to make new friends and love to have fun and make the most out of life! Life is to short to be angry so stay happy, smile and live life to the fullest :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, but just as anyone we need to find out for our self so I prayed to know if what I had been taught my entire life (Gospel) was true and found my own witness that it was and I know that this is the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and that Joseph Smith did restore this Gospel on this earth in these latter-days. I love my religion and strive to become like my Savior Jesus Christ. We all make mistakes, but that is what the Atonement is for and what a great thing that is in our lives and a sign of our Heavenly Fathers love for us. My family means the world to me and it is extremely comforting to know that through Heavenly Father's plan we can all live together again after this life. I love my religion and couldn't ask for anything better. Love my Savior Jesus Christ very much. The Gospel blesses lives I have seen it on a daily basis. What a blessing!

How I live my faith

First big thing I do to live my faith is serving a mission in Boise, Idaho and helping people build there faith. I strive to be the best person I can be and be an example to everyone I come in contact with. Keep the commandments that the Lord has asked us to keep. "Faith without works is dead" (James 2:16-17). We have to always work and to draw near to our Savior. Faith is an action word. We need to be examples in all that we do so others can see how we live our faith. To keep my faith up on a weekly and daily basis I read the Scriptures, Pray, and Attend Church and the Temple. We are all disciples of our Savior Jesus Christ and we need to be a true disciple. (3 Nephi 5:13)

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

A missionaries purpose is to, "Invite others to come unto Christ..." That is why they go out and talk with everyone because they/we want everyone to come to the knowledge of the Gospel and Heavenly Fathers love for everyone. Christ went around spreading His Gospel to everyone and since we are disciples of Him and are striving to be like Him that is the purpose in proselyting. (Matthew 28:19, 3 Nephi 5:13) Gospel = Good News. Show more Show less
