Hi I'm Scott

I have lived in Omaha, Nebraska for most of my life, about 20 minutes South of Winter Quarters. I served a mission in California,

About Me

I have been married for 28 years have 4 wonderful chilren 3 of which have served missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I recently graduated with my Masters Degree in Nursing and soon will be working as a Nurse Practitioner. I look forward to doing things besides studying all the time. Maybe even get a hobby.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that were Mormons, my Mother was one of the first to be baptized into the Church in the Omaha area in 1936. I was raised Mormon but like most people had to come to the knowledge of the truth for myself. This happened while I was serving as a missionary in California. When I married my sweetheart was not a member but joined the Church about a year after we married. We have been active in the church ever since. My testimony continues to grow stronger every day, I enjoy serving my Savior and feel His presence in every aspect of my life.

How I live my faith

Currently I serve in a leadership position (Bishopric) in the congregation I attend. I work with all the members from the youth to the adults. I am responsible for the Boy Scouts and the Young women in my congregation. I also have the responsibility to visit several familes each month, this is called Home Teaching and to see that all is well with their family and to help them live the Gospel.
