Hi I'm Mitch

I was born in Germany. I am a musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live and breathe music, it's somewhat of an obsession. I have been trying to record some music and just experimenting with different things while studying it in high school. I just recently graduated from high school and the gospel has been my anchor all throughout. I just recently returned from a summer sales trip in order to pay for my mission. Being a salesman is hard, but I think that the lessons I learned will help me be a better missionary. I come from a family of 13 when you count everybody. My parents were divorced and it has been difficult, but the gospel has helped bring me peace when times are hard. I can see that the trials I have been faced with have prepared me to raise my own family and become a helpful member of the church.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ gives me inner peace and purpose. Without it, I would be meandering around with nothing meaningful to do. It helps me to reach outside myself and do what I can to help others. It has helped me to get through trials because it is all about the big picture. In the eternal scheme of things, is a little disagreement with [insert name here] going to matter at all? When I think about my future, I can make smarter decisions that will ultimately increase my quality of life. The church makes me a better person because it is based on constant self reflection. It encourages me to take a look at my life and correct the little (and big) mishaps that bring me unhappiness.

How I live my faith

I have helped plan youth activities so that we can get to know one another and grow spiritually together. I have served in a few youth leadership positions that allowed me to make decisions and be responsible for our youth group. By being placed in these positions, I have grown and learned many lessons about leadership and also life in general. I try to make it known to others that I am LDS without being overbearing so that they can have a chance to learn what our church is all about. I enjoy attending church every week. Although my study habits are imperfect, I thoroughly enjoy reading the scriptures and church literature. It helps me to think more deeply about the doctrines and principles so that I can share what I've learned with those around me.
