Hi I'm Karen

I'm a wife, mother of 4 amazing children, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a mother of 2 girls and 2 boys. I love to decorate my home and workout. I love being with my family and love spending one on one time with each of them when I can. My husband is currently in the first year of his residency in Oral Surgery so he is very busy and time with him is usually at a minimum. We love to travel and take spontaneous trips.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I'm a Mormon....so many reasons as to why I love this church and why I'm a Mormon. I love the simplicity of it's teachings and the love I feel each Sunday as I attend church no matter where in the world I am. I never feel intimidated to ask a question during a lesson and I always feel like my soul was recharged after leaving our meetings on Sunday. There are so many wonderful people that I have meet through church. I love that the focus of this church is on families and it has given me so much guidance in raising my children. I love being Mormon because it has taught me that I am a child of God and that he loves me and wants me to succeed. I know that this is the true church because I have felt the Holy Ghost so strongly in moments of chaos and in moments of peace. I know that I am never alone in my struggles because of this. I know that our Prophet is a Prophet called of God and that he leads this church through our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I hold activities for girls ages 8-11 in our ward. We get together twice a month at my home and do fun crafts and play games. It is a lot of fun and my daughter is currently in the group as well so I get to have fun with her too. I Visit Teach 3 women in our ward which is always a blast because we get to see each other once a month and get to teach each other about the Gospel and discuss any problems or successes we are each having.
