Hi I'm Daniel

I love quantum physics and musical theatre, I'm a proud Canuck, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

First things first: I love learning. The pursuit of knowledge is really one of the most important things to me, and so I'm always willing to pick up whatever good things somebody's willing to teach. I also love helping others learn. I may not have all the answers, but sometimes I think I act like I do. I've been a student in mathematics and computer science for about three years, and playing with numbers is one of my favourite things to do. I also love science, especially physics. To me, all of creation witnesses that there is a God, and that He loves us enough to give us this beautiful universe and all of its wonders. I love spending time with friends and family. (Who doesn't?) I also love performing onstage: theatre, especially musical theatre, has been a passion of mine for a long time. I haven't taken the opportunity to do so for some time now, but I'll get back into it soon enough. Oh, and did I mention I'm a Mormon?

Why I am a Mormon

I consider myself a pretty logical person. That's why it made sense to me that if I wanted to know for myself if the Gospel of Jesus Christ was the path for me, I couldn't get away with doing nothing. I had to study the Lord's word, and to pray about it. I did, and the Holy Spirit - which testifies of all truth - confirmed to me that His path is the path that I need to take. I made the decision to do so, and I've been blessed ever since.

How I live my faith

Even though I'm by no means perfect, I do my best to say and do the things the Saviour Himself would say and do if He were in my situation. I try to love and lift those around me, and to serve them in any way that I can. I've always tried to listen to people, to learn their story, and to find ways to make their burdens lighter. I find that one of the best ways that I can live my faith is to share God's message of peace and hope with those around me. That's why I'm currently serving as a full-time missionary for the church in the Seattle area. I've seen the hand of God in my life, guiding me throughout my journey. I've seen amazing miracles, both in my life and in the lives of those I've tried to help. I've been chosen as a way for God to reach out in love to His children, and I'll do my very best to live in a way that He can continue to guide my steps, my words and my deeds.
