Hi I'm Jordan Young

I am a college student trying the best I can to live right and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have the best job you could ask for. I work at a high ropes course. I go to work and play all day. I am also married to the girl of my dreams. My wife and I try to help and serve whenever we can. I serve as a missionary for the Mormon church in the northern Colorado area from August 2008 to August 2010. It was the greatest experience of my life next to marrying my wife. After I earn my degree in mechanical engineering I hope to get a job with an aeronautics company.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the mormon church and was taught the doctrines from a very young age. However, there was a point in my life when I had to decide for myself whether or not I wanted to remain in the church. Through this time in my life I came to know my Heavenly Father and his love for me. I also came to know, through the promptings of the Spirit, that this truly is the Church of our Savior. It was organized through a prophet by Jesus Christ himself. Serving as a representative for the church as a missionary helped solidify the understandings that I had come to. I now have no doubt that this is where I am supposed to be. I love my Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

My wife and I make a point to attend church every week. We enjoy going to hear the speakers and to prepare for the coming week by taking the sacrament, the symbolic eating of bread and water in a renewal of our promises to God. Currently we both serve on a service committee. We are responsible for organizing service projects for our congregation to participate in.
