Hi I'm Kimball

I'm a Home Depot Associate, student, and I live in Northern Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in various parts of the United States. I served a two year Spanish speaking mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It was there I learned the spanish language and grew a desire to serve all people. I am lover of nature and God's creations. I love to cook, read, practice my recorder, and enjoy good company with my family and friends here in Northern Idaho.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints all my life. I am grateful being a member of Christ's Church knowing it being the only true church of Jesus Christ on the face of the earth. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God called to restore all things as prophesied by ancient prophets in the Holy Bible. I know that the Book of Mormon to be a holy work written by ancient prophets who are of the house of Israel on the American continent. I know that God continues to speak to His children and wants for our eternal happiness and life with Him. These are only some of my reasons for being a Mormon of which brings me much happiness and peace in this chaotic world.

How I live my faith

I read the Book of Mormon daily. I find personal strength in doing so and love the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the Book of Mormon. I pray almost all day everyday to receive guidance and direction at my job and in making difficult choices such as for school, career, and for my future. I make frequent trips with my family to Omaha to visit the Winter Quarters Temple and participate in providing saving ordinances for the dead. I go church on a weekly basis to renew my covenants or spiritual commitments that I made with my Heavenly Father when I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ. This has help recognize my personal duty to my Savior, Jesus Christ and gives me hope that I can start my week being clean and pure. Along to going to church, I also attend to my church calling as president of a group of men from 18 year olds to some great age including several family members. I teach this group about twice a month and also I have to help those that may need my help during the week or month. It is a 24/7 responsibility. I know that the Lord supports me in my endeavors as I try to serve Him in all that I do.
