Hi I'm Aubrey

I grew up in California, and just graduated from USU. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently going to college to get my degree in Animal Science. I grew up in California with very few people knowing what a "mormon" believed. I believe there were 5 of us in a graduating class of about 500. I was on the swim team in high school and for our city, as well as the marching band. I still enjoy swimming and since I'm in a smaller town going on hikes when I'm not to busy with school and work.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I'm a Mormon...that's a good question. I am because I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and has sent me here with a purpose. I can feel His love in everything that I see around me. His church has given me dirrection in my life and has helped me to be happy. Knowing that someone is always watching out for me and helping me, gives me great peace of mind. The peace and joy I feel when I go to church, cannot be duplicated. I know that without a doubt that Christ is the Son of God, and that He came to earth to die for me and for all my brothers and sisters in the world. Christ knows everything that I am going through and knows how to help me. He is my friend and brother. All of this knowledge didn't come at once though, while growing up I had to fight to learn all of this, my family wasn't the greatest examples of the gospel, but with time and study I was able to learn all of this and so much more. I know that God loves me and that this is His chruch restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith.

How I live my faith

I live my faith first off by going to chruch when I can, saddly some Sundays I have to work. While at church though I do take part in all of the classes that are tought. Every Monday night that I have free from work I go to the activity called Family Home Evening, where we have a little lesson and then we play games or do service projects. I also take part in what is called visiting teaching, which is where the sisters in the church visit other sisters to make sure that they are doing okay and if they need help with anything. I try to live my life every day as Chirst would and each day try to become more like Him and my Father in Heaven.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

We believe that we are all children of God and therefore we should help others as well, not just people of our own beliefs. Show more Show less
