Hi I'm Aaron

I live in Boulder with my amazing wife and three children. I'm a business owner. I enjoy being active outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a real estate entrepenuer. I'm a father of three beautiful children. I love running, cycling, being in the mountains, camping, snowboarding, playing the guitar, singing, and creating music, among other things. But mostly running lately. I feel very blessed to be a father and husband. I find my greatest joy doing the every day things with my family. Being able to go for a run with my five year old girl riding alongside chatting about life is one example of something I find the most joy in on a daily basis. I enjoy what I do for work. I started my own business in 2006 buying run-down houses, renovating and then selling them. I like being in business for myself and the independence and opportunity that affords me. I also enjoy seeing the positive impact my efforts have on improving neighborhoods and providing people with nice houses. I also like serving the people around me in my church and community. I served a two year mission when I was 19 and I love every chance I get to share the joy of the gospel of Jesus Christ with others still.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon for many reasons. But most importantly, because it is the way I believe I can experience the greatest joy in this life and in the life to come. I grew up from birth in a Mormon household. I was taught about the truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ from infancy, and have always felt that God exists and loves me. But I learned for myself, at a young age, to rely upon my Heavenly Father and trust in his love and goodness. There have been countless experiences in my life that have confirmed God's love for me. I would be lost without my relationship with my Heavenly Father. He has guided me throughout my life. He is always there to help me and guide me. And I have come to know with certainty through the witness of His Spirit on many occasions, that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. That Joseph Smith was called as a Prophet to restore the fullness of Christ's Gospel to the earth in our time. This knowledge blesses and guides me and gives me continuous comfort and peace in my heart. That is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through studying the scriptures and through daily prayer to Heavenly Father. I do my best to treat the people around me as I believe Christ would treat them. I am currently serving in a youth leadership role in our church which I love. I get to teach the young men on Sundays as well as spend time with them each week doing activities and going camping. I really enjoy spending time with the young men and other youth leaders, it's a lot of fun. But it's also very fulfilling to be in the position to be an example for the young and impressionable men.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Aaron
The Mormon lifestyle is a journey in finding joy. Life is not always happy. Bad things happen in everyone's life and everyone feels pain and sadness in this life. But being a Mormon, and having a knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in its fullness, give one the greatest perspective that can be found. Through an understanding of God's plan for the happiness and joy of His children, decisions can be made much better than without that understanding. As a Mormon, I seek to live a healthy, balanced life. I try to treat my body as a temple and not defile it in any way. I try to take care of it through exercise and healthy diet. I seek to live in balance in all aspects of my life. Family, work, spiritual and mental growth, service to family and the community, and relationships are all important aspects of a Mormon lifestyle.
