Hi I'm Jerry

I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. I am married with 5 children and am an insurance professional. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have been married for 19 years and have 3 boys and 2 girls. In my 45 years of life I have learned that lasting happiness comes by living the gospel of Jesus Christ and devoting my life to Him and my family.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents and 7 siblings are all members of the Church of Jesus Christ. I was born of goodly parents who taught me well from birth. However, even though I was born into this faith, I have had to search the scriptures and pray to my Heavenly Father to know for myself that this is His true church. I have received this confirmation countless times in my life as I have served and attended this church. God is the loving Heavenly Father of all mankind and He will answer all sincere prayers. Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of the world. This means he has saved me from the sins and mistakes I have made. He will save you as well. This precious knowledge is the anchor of my soul and the source of my happiness.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as the Ward Mission Leader in my congregation (ward). My assignment is to coordinate the ward’s efforts to find, teach, and baptize investigators. I coordinate this work with the work of the full-time missionaries and ward missionaries. I visit the homes of those in my area of individuals that are not currently experiencing the blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I simply invite them to be partakers of these blessings. I want everyone experience the kind of truth, peace and happiness that can only be found in Jesus Christ and the fullness of His gospel.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

God is our Heavenly Father. We are all His children. He wants to guide us but not at the expense of our free agency. We have to do our part and ask for His help. From personal experience I can say that God will answer sincere prayers. The answers don't always come immediately and sometimes they are answered in unexpected ways. I recommend that you study it out and ask God yourself if this church is true. If you ask in faith and with a sincere heart, you will know for yourself. This I can promise. Show more Show less
