Hi I'm Carrie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother to 4 biological kids, 1 adopted and several foster kids. My oldest is currently serving a mission for the church. I spend a lot of time with my family. I enjoy doing crafts and traveling. I love going to the movies and eating out.

Why I am a Mormon

My ancestors were some of the pioneers that came acrossed the plains and I am so proud and thankful to them and they're had work and example. I always attended church growing up and I am thankful for the Teachings of Jesus Christ and for his example to me. I am greatful to have the knowlege that I can return to my Heavenly Father and live with my family for eternity if I continue to live rightously. I am always striving to learn and grow to improve myself and my family through the scriptures and teachings of our living Prophet. Life is sometimes hard and I find that living the teachings of Jesus helps carry me and remind me I can do hard things. I am grateful to have a son serving a mission for our church now, I love seeing him grow in knowlege too.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week. Our church provides many opportunities for us to serve each other and our community. I have been able to serve the young children through many years of the leadership positions. I have also been a leader and teacher to the teen-age girls. I currently help out with the girls (8-11years old) from church with activities twice a month. The activities help the girls learn to set goals and have activities that are uplifting and are in a good enviroment. It helps them learn skills to use in their future.
