Hi I'm Karen

I'm a Mormon. I'm a mom to four "little" people and a wife to one "big" person. I love to read, exercise, and be with my family.

About Me

I live in Arizona. Crazy, HOT, beautiful Arizona! I am a mom to many, and a wife to one. I love to create beautiful things. I love to read, and spend time reading great books to my children. We enjoy our nightly family scripture study, when we're snuggled in the King sized bed. Snuggled? In Arizona? Yep... we snuggle in that bed and enjoy stories of our ancient prophets. It's my favorite time of day. My Husband is my favorite friend, and I LIVE for our Friday night date nights. A chance to escape, for just a couple of hours, and reconnect. We love our Chinese food, and get a good laugh over our fortunes for the coming week. I enjoy MOVING, and do so EVERY day. I'm crazy about music, and the ability it has to inspire MORE.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I know that Jesus Christ organized The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My relationship with my Savior is the most important thing in my life. He is my friend. He has carried me, and continues to do so. His example fills me with hope, faith, and happiness. I am trying to be like him. I know that ANY trials I go through in this life, will only bring me closer to him, or to becoming more like him. ANY TRIALS. The best way I can show my Savior the love I have for him, is by belonging to his church. It is my chance to return, to my brothers and sisters, the love and service that the Savior has shown to me. I love the Book of Mormon. There is no greater book in existence. I love sharing the stories from the Book of Mormon with my children. I love discussing it's many teachings and facets with my husband. I know it is true scripture, and it is so important to me.

How I live my faith

I teach the in the "Primary" organization in church. This is the organization that is set up for the children of our church. My age group is the 4-5 year old children. They are so much fun! I love to hear them singing songs about Jesus, during Opening Exercises. I love to watch their serious expressions, when learning about something new about the gospel. I love to see their excitement, when we are visited by "ancient prophets". (aka~ dads dressed up and playing the roles of Shadrach, Captain Moroni, Alma, etc) I enjoy teaching them new things every week, and seeing their expressions when they "get it".
