Hi I'm Peggy

I grew up on a ranch in NE. I'm a wife, mother, grandmother; I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 23.

About Me

I'm a wife, mother, grandmother. I changed my college major four times, from Spanish to Speech Therapy to Marketing to Accounting - I am a woman of many interests! :-) After a career in advertising sales, I am now a Marketing/Administrative Assistant. I like to hike, bike, take pictures of scenery and grandchildren, and read mystery novels. I'm learning to play guitar (again) and speak Spanish (again)!

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when I was 23. Missionaries visited our home and my heart immediately knew the truth of their message. Growing up, we attended the Methodist church and I wasn't searching for another, but I wasn't attending regularly, either - something was missing. I visited with the missionaries, read the Book of Mormon (from whence we get our nickname), prayed about it, and knew I had read a true history. I had never felt the Spirit so strongly as I have in the years since being baptized a "Mormon" - I cannot imagine my life without it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith on a daily basis; this is not a "Sunday only" religion. I believe we're "immortals having a mortal experience" and we need to support each other during this earthly challenge. Inheriting my mother's sense of humor has truly been a blessing! As the first member of my family to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I enjoy doing Family History work to enable my forbearers to enjoy all the blessings available to them. I live the standards of the Church, knowing these are Christ's loving directions to us for health and happiness.
