Hi I'm Sam

I'm a Georgia boy , I love classic hip hop, i write poetry, i love the outdoors, and I'm a surfer bum at heart.I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Alabama and then moved to Georgia when i was seven. My Dad was a sports caster in Alabama, so I inherited the love for sports from him. My mom's a convert to the church. She has such a great faith in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints. She's such an amazing person. i've been so blessed to have my family. I'm in the middle of my family. i have an older brother who's 24 and a little sister who's 14. Ever since I've been growing up, I've always been really involved with my family. Basketball is the best sport ever! I used to shoot around everyday for at least an hour back in Georgia. Its a great sport because there's always room for improvement. You always are thinking quickly, always trying to improve your shot, think about the passes you can make so you can see your team mates score. Its great. I love music as well, Jazz and Hip hop. There's nothing like listening to a song and having it just totally hitting home to you that day. Life is great when you just realize that God expects you to be you.

Why I am a Mormon

I've met so many interesting individuals in the church. I remember talking to my friends and them saying that Mormons have so many restrictions and they dont' really live life to the fullest. That's just the opposite. I see so many people around us, who have made bad choices and felt like they can't control what they do or they can't drop certain habits. Really the Gospel of Jesus Christ, having faith in Jesus Christ, repenting, and being baptized, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost by the laying on of hands by those who can rightfully give that gift. All of those things help us overcome these challenges. This gospel helps me embrace the individual in me. it helps me know who I really am and who I can become. It gives me great hope and great motivation to be a better person, to be more Christ-like. Everything with this church just makes sense. It helps me build a greater relationship with Jesus Christ,

How I live my faith

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love teaching people these things because I know they are true. I've seen so many lives change because of this great role in my church.
