Hi I'm Tim

I'm from Ontario California, I love sports, I am serving a mission in the Idaho Pocatello Mission. Im a Mormon.

About Me

Im serving a mission in the Idaho Pocatello mission. I finished my BA in Criminal Justice and plan on furthering my education when i get home. I Love sports and staying active. I played four years of college football so thats definately my favorite sport! I love playing it and watching it. I love the outdoors too! I have fun in everything I do. I keep a positive mindset and take challenges as growth opportunities. I live my life in abundance, their are so many things to learn and do, I always want to do them all! I love new experiences! Im so grateful to be out serving a mission for the lord. I have seen the light and warmth that comes from the gospel, enter into homes and and the lives of families. God loves all of his children, Jesus Christ loves all of us so much that he knelt in agony for each one of us, God has an eternal plan of happiness, by living the gospel we find the true meaning of happiness.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of christs church! My family means alot to me, and so does my future family. Im grateful that through Christs gospel, I can live with my family again in the presence of our heavenly father. Because of the knowledge I have of where we came from, and where we are going, I live a happy life and take challenges as opportunities. I'm never alone and always feel the presence of the holy ghost who is there to guide me.

How I live my faith

Faith isn't just a sunday thing, its a life style. I use principles that I have learned in class and through scripture study in my everyday life. Theres no reason, we should only feel close to our heavenly father on sundays....we should feel close to him everyday. We must always try to communicate with him. Our ward gives service to the community and to other members of the ward when needed. It always feels great to help someone in need.

Why was a Restoration of the Gospel needed? Haven’t we always had the Bible?

We are all here to be tried, tested, recieve a body, and experience life so we can learn and grow and become more like our heavenly father. The only way to return back to heavenly father and enter into his holy presence is through the gospel of jesus christ. Christ taught his gospel while on the earth and gave his priesthood authority to his apostles so they may preach, recieve revelation, and baptize. After Christ was killed and all the apostles were killed, that authority to teach, baptize and recieve revelation (that authority to act in gods name) was lost. This authority was crucial to establish Christs church again. While on the earth Christ taught principles of faith, repentance, baptism by immersion, the holy ghost, and he set an example of how we should act through out our entire lives. This is how we return to live in the presence of heavenly father and jesus christ, to recieve a fulness of joy for eternity with our families. Jesus Christ re-established his church on the earth through Joseph smith and the authority and teachings that were once lost were restored to the earth. Show more Show less
