Hi I'm Jill

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was blessed to be raised in the wonderful state of South Carolina. I now enjoy living in Utah, but I will never forget my Southern roots! I am the mother of two adorable girls that my husband and I adopted through LDS Family Services as infants. Adoption has forever changed our lives, we have been unable to have biological children. We have very open adoptions and enjoy visiting and talking to both of our girls birth moms on a regular basis. I love spending time with my family, no matter what we do it is just nice being together. I love to paint, draw, scrapbook and blog(about my girls).

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon(LDS) Church. I have prayed to know if its teachings are true and have felt confirmation of its truth many times in my life. I am thankful for Jesus Christ and the example he has set for me. I know that Heavenly Father knows me and knows what I need. I cannot imagine the loneliness of not having Jesus Christ in my life. He sacrificed everything for us, and I cannot forget that.

How I live my faith

I serve in Primary (Children's Sunday School). We have over 100 children that attend our meetings and classes each Sunday. I love being around children and helping teach them the love that Jesus Christ has for each and every one of them. I also enjoy helping others with adopt through Families Supporting Adoption(FSA). We plan adoption education meetings, events, and do service for local birth mothers.

What do Mormons believe about family?
