Hi I'm Craig

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband and father of 6, five boys and one girl and grandfather of 5. I love to fish! When I'm not fishing I'm usually thinking about when and where I will go fishing next. As a family we have enjoyed many outings on the rivers and lakes near our home. I'm self employed and have been blessed to have all my family work in the business at one time or another. It has been a tool to help teach our children how to work and be responsible. We work hard and then we play hard together.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from generations of family who have belonged to the church. While I have been a member all my life I'm still a convert to the church. Someday we all come to a point in life where we just need to know for ourselves that the church is true. When that time comes we go through the same steps that we ask those who are investigating the church to go through. I began by reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in the many activities that are associated with being members of the church. I have had several opportunities to work with the youth in scouting, teaching Sunday school, doing service projects and attending church services on a regular basis. I have volunteered time and resources to youth ice fishing events and C.A.S.T for Kids through my business and affiliations with a jet boating club and outdoor recreation groups. All of these activities have provided many cherished memories helping the youth gain an appreciation of the outdoors.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Craig
Yes, that's the beauty of the Gospel. We can be together forever. What is more important than your family? there is much peace of mind knowing that through acceptance of and obedience to the Gospel of Jesus Christ we can set the foundation for our family to be together for time and all eternity. Death does not need to be the end of our relationships with cherished loved ones. The Lord revealed to Joseph Smith that the “same sociality which exists among us here will exist among us there [in eternity], only it will be coupled with eternal glory” (Doctrine and Covenants 130:2 Show more Show less
