Hi I'm Anna

I'm a full-time mom and a part time business partner with my husband. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy cooking and learning new things. I don't just make the same bread every week. I try artisan breads and new cooking methods. I often try two or three new dishes each week. I like gardening. One of the calmest parts of my day is when I am pulling weeds in the garden. I enjoy camping and biking and reading. I play guitar and sing.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a Mormon, but that doesn't explain why I choose to be a Mormon still. I have learned by experience that all the sweetness in my life comes from my faith in Jesus Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormon church) has the most extensive and clearest explanations about who Jesus Christ is and what He did for each of us. I've always felt a strong sense of spirituality. The happiness I feel in my Spirit confirms to me the truth of what I learn at church. I'm a Mormon because I love my Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I teach a class of young children at church. I study the scriptures and the lesson throughout the week to prepare. I learn while I study, and often, I learn from the children. Sometimes I will ask a question that I would like to understand better and they will say something I hadn't considered before. I love when that happens. I teach my children to be considerate and also to take care of themselves. I try to be a little bit better every day.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Anna
I have found that many people believe that family relationships can last forever, no matter what church they belong to. What they don't consider is the finality of the words "'till death do us part." In spite of the wording restraining their marriages to this life only, they believe that God will work it out in heaven. I, too, believe that God will work it out so that family relationships can last forever, and the way He will work it out is by allowing couples to be married in the temple not just until death divides them, but for this life and throughout eternity.
