Hi I'm Matthew

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I am convicted in my testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ as taught by prophets both ancient and modern. As a teenager I had the opportunity to live on my own, away from the influence of my parents and siblings and was faced with the decision of whether or not I would live according to what I was taught by my parents and with what degree of conviction and comitment I would live it. I chose to live the things I was taught, little by little. As I tested the teachings of the gospel, I felt greater hapiness and peace in my life. I could not deny what I felt when I aligned my choices with the teachings of Jesus Christ and His gospel. 18 years later, I continue to live according to the conviction I gained as a young man. I am not perfect in my observence, but I try to be perfect in my effort to observe. This effort has brought me hapiness and peace in my relationships with my family, friends, neighbors and with God.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by putting others first. Jesus Christ was a perfect and selfless example of a life of charity, and this is at the core of all that he taught and continues to teach today. I live my faith by serving my family, friends and neighbors.
