Hi I'm Kerri

I am the mom of 3 boys and live in Colorado. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Denver in a very happy and active LDS family. I got a physics degree from BYU then moved to the east coast to work for Hewlett Packard where I met my husband. We have been married for 21 years and have 3 crazy boys. I now have an interior design company and work for myself, when I am not working for my boys! I like to play tennis and do yoga, and we love to travel.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been LDS all of my life and have often wondered what my life would be like if I was not a member of this church. I felt the truth of the gospel and it's teachings at a very young age as I began to develop my own testimony and not rely so much on the testimonies of those whom I loved and admired. As I began to earnestly study the life and testimony of Joseph Smith I was overwhelmed with his love, determination, and perserverance in restoring the gospel in these latter days. The spirit has born witness to me on many occassions that the church which he restored, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is indeed the church which Christ organized on the earth many hundreds of years ago. He still stands at our head - our Savior Jesus Christ is the head of this church and he loves us just as much as he did the people in ancient times. I testify to you that true happiness comes in this life and in the life to come as we study and apply the principles of this church to our lives. As I continue to study the Book of Mormon the truths in those pages help me to be a better mom, wife, sister, daughter, and disciple of Christ. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith every day - there are always opportunities to help and serve if we are looking for them. I serve in the womans' organization at church and have learned so much from the sisters that I associate with. I like working in the PTA organizations at my kids' schools and really enjoy spending time with my neighbors. We enjoy being in dinner groups together and try to have lots of family outings where we play games and get to know each other better. Being an example to others is something we can do every day in every facet of our lives. I try to love and serve as the Savior would - I know that he would like us to take care of each other at every opportunity.
