Hi I'm Stacey

I'm a Mormon. I'm a convert to the church and becoming a member has been the best thing that has ever happened to me.

About Me

I'm a stay at home mom of four beautiful and smart children and I am married to a wonderful husband. I love volunteering my time to the schools and the community. I'm on the PTO and I volunteer at the local hospital. My current calling in the church is in the Young Women Presidency which has helped me grow stronger in the church. I love serving the Lord. It has made me become a better person and better parent to my children. It has given me a purpose in life that I didn't have before joining the church.

Why I am a Mormon

As a child I had questioned why I am here, what is my purpose and why was I ever born. When I first met my husband, he was a member of the church but not active. We were friends for a while and he was a great example to me. He always told me that if I was ever interested in the church to let him know and he would get me more information. At first I wasn't interested at all. Shortly after we were married his mother found out she had cancer. She only lived a short time after that and I was there through it all. I was so amazed at the whole process with the church and how it wasn't such a sad experience as I thought it should have been. Everyone said they would all be together again for all eternity as a family. That peaked my interest in the church and so I was able to have the missionaries come and start giving me the messages and then get baptized. I am so grateful to have my husband in my life and what a great example he is to me.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving the young women in our ward. They have taught me so much. Since I didn't grow up in the church I am so thankful to be able to serve the youth. I am a stay home mom and all four of my children are in school. This gives me the opportunity to volunteer and serve on the PTO Board at my children's school. I also am volunteering at the local hospital. I am a visiting teacher and it has been a great experience to get to know these wonderful ladies in our ward. I am always looking for ways to help and serve others.
