Hi I'm Bill

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for almost 22 years to a wonderful wife and am the father of three great sons, ages 19, 18, and 12. I am a mechanical engineer and have worked in the hydro electric power industry for 32 years. I love the outdoors especially camping and fishing. I also love all sports, especially soccer. All three of my sons play the “world’s game” and love it. I am currently serving on the board of directors for our local soccer club and also as the booster club president for our high school boys’ soccer team. Most of all, I like to do anything which involves my family. We love spending time together. My oldest son is serving a full time church mission in the Mexico Monterrey East Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church because I had many questions about where we came from, what we are doing here, and where we are going. The Church missionaries and the scriptures were able to provide the answers I needed. I know that God lives and that his son Jesus Christ is our Savior and because of Him we can be forgiven our sins and gain peace in this life and eternal salvation. I also love the Church’s teachings about the family, for the present day and also the knowledge that we can be together forever as a family. I am also grateful for the gift of the Holy Ghost, which helps guide me in making important choices on a daily basis.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to adhere to its teachings each and every day and following the example of our brother and Savior, Jesus Christ. I have had the opportunity to serve in many positions of leadership in the church which has afforded me the opportunity to help may people both spiritually and temporally. My testimony of the gospel has increased with each of these opportunities.
