Hi I'm Josh

I'm a husband, a father, and an eye doctor, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my wife and my four boys. We are expecting our 5th child currently. I enjoy playing sports and biking, and like to fix things myself. I work as an Optometrist, which I enjoy also. Currently my older boys are interested in building things, so we are working on model rockets, and designing a play-fort that we hope to build in the yard.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior. He suffered and died for us, and was resurrected, so that we can return to Him and our Father in Heaven again. Christ established a church while He ministered in life, and guided it after His resurrection. The key to His church was having His authority, the priesthood. Through the death of the Apostles and many of his disciples, this authority was lost. Without this authority, there cannot exist a church that is Christ's, regardless of our faith and devotion. I know that this authority was restored by heavenly messengers, and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is His church because of that.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith through my interactions with others. Although far from perfect, I try to think of others as Jesus would, and thus treat others with respect and kindness. In church, I am responsible for leading and instructing men as how to be better fathers and husbands. I am grateful for repentance each day, because I still have a lot of improving to do.
