Hi I'm Jami

I'm a wife to an amazing hard-working husband. I'm a mom to three children under the age of four. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was an inactive member and became involved in the church at age 22. After under going brain surgery with struggles to regain my health, I served a full time mission at age 23 in the Tulsa Oklahoma Mission. At age 30, I met my sweetheart in the Los Angeles Temple and married him there a year later! I am a mom to three wonderful children, all under the age of 4! I enjoy spending time with my husband and family. We love to go camping, fishing, attend college football games and just be together. I completed a AA degree in general studies and Certificate in American Sigh Language my first year of marriage. I enjoy competing in races and will compete in my first half-marathon 2011. I love taking pictures of my children because I relish in capturing moments. I am happy when I go to the Temple, go to church, reading uplifting books, spend time with my family and write in my journal.

Why I am a Mormon

Sister missionaries taught me the gospel when I was in my 20's. I discovered for myself how to find answers through prayer, how to understand the scriptures and how the Spirit helps me find my way in a world of lost values. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to serve a full time mission, not only to share how the gospel brings understanding and peace, but to have increased my dependance on the Spirit and recieved a greater understanding of the Lord's Atonement of Repentance! It is now that I have learned even more that this gospel is one of learning and appreciation and must be shared with others! Our actions define us. And our experiences shape us! This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am humbly trying to live my life so as to be an example of the goodness that can come when following the Savior. I try to follow the teachings of the Prophets. I attend church every Sunday, even when on vacation, we always locate the ward or branch in the area to attend, which has brought countless blessings to me and my family. It is in the church I have learned that service is what blesses your own life while helping those you serve....from teaching small children to youth and adults has enriched my life emensely! I want to be the best wife, mother and friend which only comes when I serve unselfishly and with my heart. It takes alot of mistakes and baby steps to find my way, but the way does come followed by peace and love.
