Hi I'm Anna

I grew up in the hills of Pa. I'm a mother, step mother and a wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a disabled woman with some physical problems but my mind is just great. My children don't agree with the great mind part but I do!!! I have three stepchildren and two birth children, but they are all mine, lock, stock and barrell. My husband owns a little bit of them when they are misbehaving. I have four grandchildren who never do anything wrong and hope to have a lot more. I love crocheting, reading, games on computer and some tv. We have dogs and cats galore and I try to ignore how many we have. They create more mess then my children ever did!!!, but we love them anyway. I want to learn how to paint. I have learned some sign language which I am proud of knowing. This is thanks to a deaf friend whom I love very much. Learning sign language opened up a whole new world to me. A whole new way of thinking too. I became a Mormon when I was 46 years old and am very glad I made that wonderful decision.

Why I am a Mormon

One of my daughters became a Mormon first and I told her if she wanted to join a cult she was old enough, so go for it. I joined one monthe later. I love being in a family religion that actually thinks family is the strongest thing we have to rely on. Our Church Ward is like family. For many years (ever since I was a child) I had felt something different and then thru the teachings I realized what it was and I changed to being a Mormon. I do not agree with what people say on religions when they are trying to get you to believe their way. What one of the first things that impressed me is after talking to me, the Missionaries then let me think and pray. I did and now I'm a proud Mormon.

How I live my faith

I don't get to go to church as much as I would like too, but when I do I get to use my new sign language skills to help my friend understand what is being said. I love having hometeachers in my home for a night of talks meals. Having and meeting new Missonaries of our Ward is a lot of fun too. I learn about different places and things from what they have seen and tell me. I pray A LOT for my family, friends, neighbors and of course my Church Ward. I read the Bible almost every day. I am amazed at how I learn something new each and every time I read a chapter no matter how often I've read that chapter or book of the Bible. I have talked to a lot of my friends who were curious about my beliefs. I and my family have helped with food banks and enjoyed meeting people. I have talked to my friends on the computer when they ask me questions and I pray for anyone who wants me too for them.
