Hi I'm Cindy

I live in the Seattle area. I like to quilt, spend time with my family, garden and do family history research. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love making quilts, like my mother and grandmothers have done. I love crocheting, sewing and I can do some tatting. I love music and play the piano and organ. I enjoy working in my garden. I enjoy activities the most when I am doing it with my family members. Being a mother and grandmother is a real blessing in my life! I like cooking for my family - fruits and vegetable's are my favorite!

Why I am a Mormon

I am thankful to be a Mormon. I am thankful to know that my Heavenly Father is aware of me and knows me by name. I am thankful that the scriptures show me the way to live. I am thankful that Jesus Christ is my elder brother and Savior and that he clearly marked the path that I need to follow to return to Heaven again. I am thankful for opportunities to serve others that are in need - even just an encouraging word. I love being a visiting teacher, visiting several sisters each month to discuss a gospel message of hope, faith and enduring - amid difficult times. I am thankful to be part of an eternal family - I love my family! I am so glad we have a living prophet that stands on the watchtower and warns us of danger. I am thankful for the good news and glad tidings of the gospel of Jesus Christ!

How I live my faith

I am thankful that I can go to church every Sunday. I have the opportunity to play the organ for church meetings on Sunday's. I love the hymns of the church and the opportunity to workship through music! I love to fellowship with the saints, to gain strength from them. I read from the scriptures each day and pray for strength to choose the right and be happy. I count my blessing every day, trying to focus on all of the good in this world and in my life!
