Hi I'm Ashley

I am a stay at home mom of 3. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom of three beautiful children. I love scrapbooking, and have recently grown to love digital scrapbooking because I can do it whenever I have a second, and don't have to worry about cleaning everything everything up to keep kids out. I also enjoy playing sports, although I don't do it all that often. I love to read, and I love crafting, and creating things digitally for others. I am also getting into indexing to other locate their ancestors. I have a wonderful husband, and 3 beautiful children whom I am sealed to for eternity, My friends are the best a woman could ask for, and most importantly I have the true gospel of Jesus Christ in my life, which helps me understand that I am a daughter of a Heavenly Father.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but I have felt the Lord's hand in my life. At times when I have doubted, the Lord has sent blessings. When I have struggled, he has wrapped his loving arms around me, and sent a friend to help me get through. I have received too many blessings from my Heavenly Father to ever deny the gospel of Jesus Christ, and all that he has done for me and my family. I have seen small miracles in my life, and I am proud to say that I am a Mormon. I know that Jesus Christ lives, and loves each of us. I know that we have a living prophet of God on the earth today to lead us, guide us, direct us, and to keep us heading in the right direction. I can be with my family for Eternity, and I can repent when I make mistakes, and I will be forgiven. I am not perfect, but I know that I am truly loved by my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. I know that I am a daughter of a King, and I want to be prepared when the time comes for me to return to Him.

How I live my faith

I live by faith everyday. I am a youth leader in the ward and love seeing our youth stand out from the rest. I love to see how they are willing to serve others, and they are not afraid to stand up for what is right. I see youth who face each day knowing they are the only member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in their whole school, and yet they are still able to stand strong. I am also privileged to have women in whom I visit each month to check on them and see if they are doing well, and a couple women also visit me. I love to help where i can, and serving in the church helps me to put my worries behind me and focus on others. It isn't easy telling the kids we can't attend social events on Sundays, but I know that by keeping the Sabbath Day holy we are blessed in return. I love the youth and seeing them grow spiritually is a wonderful experience. I just hope that I am setting the example that would be approved by my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

We are encouraged by church leaders to prayerfully study all we can about political matters and vote for who/what we feel the Lord feels is best. We are not urged one way or another by the church or it's leadership. Show more Show less
