Hi I'm Linda

I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. I’m a published author, a lung cancer survivor, a Navy wife of 11 years and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Salt Lake City, being the first girl after three boys. I was taught very early the teachings of Jesus and how he loved little children. I knew he loved me. When I was 10 years old I sang my first solo in the children’s primary program. My husband calls me a domestic goddess. He wanted to have 5 children and I wanted to have 4. So we first had my 4 and then we had his 5. I love to make homemade wheat bread from grinding my own wheat. I believe in family planning, I named my 4 girls and 5 boys down the alphabet. I love reading the scriptures and taught early morning religious studies to high school students for 6 years. I taught myself how to play the organ and played seven years for Sunday Services. I find great joy in leading large choirs and directed a program where over 1,000 people attended. I still love to sing.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ has always given me inspired direction from living prophets and opportunities to develop my talents. The principle of safety, true joy, and happiness has always been there for me and my family as we strive to keep His commandments.

How I live my faith

I’ve learned to first put my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and pray daily, I pray for his help, opportunities to serve, and forgiveness on a daily basis. I try to be an example of love and service as I help others reach their eternal goals. Little acts of service and kindness go along way to lift the burdens of others.
