Hi I'm Adrian Lopez

I'm a freerunner, I like to film, I love live, and I'm a Mormon!!!

About Me

I was born in Cali, grew up in PA, and lived in Utah, so I like to think I have a pretty good scope on different things haha. I love art and film and want to be able to get to the point where I can wake up one morning, have an idea, and have it realized by the end of the day. I love stories and creating things. I love capturing life and the things which we can learn from it. I also love sports and played football and ran 3 years of track in highschool.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family and was raised in the Church, but I never had a testimony until about a year ago. I went through the motions and never really did anything. Later, I didn't really want to go to activities and was becoming less and less involved. Then life hit me... I was struggling with a lot of personal issues and my life quickly turned around. My family was struggling. I tried everything else suggested on the internet and such to try to keep my life in balance, but nothing was working. I didn't know where else to turn, so I turned to the Bishop of my ward because I trusted him. We talked and he asked me a simple question, "Have you read the Book Of Mormon?" That's where the turning point was. I only ever read a few pages at a time and didn't care too much about it. I actually hated reading scriptures haha. But nothing else was working so I began to read it and took a personal challenge to read it within the month of April. 531 pages in 30 days... I read it. And I prayed about it. And I knew it had to be true. My life quickly started turning around and I was able to experience a lot more happiness and peace in my life. I was able to be forgiven and start fresh. I dedicated myself to scripture study and in increasing my testimony in this Gospel. About a year later, here I am in the Washington Seattle mission, happily doing whatever the Lord would have me do. I may not be a scriptorian or a church historian, but I'm working on it. All I have is my testimony and my desire to share it with others and that's what I'm going to do! I've realized that there's no middle ground. It's either real or its not. There is either a loving God or there is not... This work that I've been priviliged with is real. The happiness and comfort I have recieved is real. All the suffering that my family and I have been through has been to prepare us for this moment. To have faith in Him and to trust Him. I love this Gospel and I love this work. I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by constantly living the Gospel and doing what I can to always remember the Lord and what He has done for me. I read the scriptures everyday and make sure to pray and keep that constant communication with my Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. I put myself in situations where I can feel His Holy Spirit and look at things with a different perspective, and more on the eternal scale of things. I'm also a missionary serving in the Washington Seattle mission. I love this Gospel and my testimony and am here because I know it is true. I serve others and try to have the same charitable spirit that Christ teaches us to have. By doing the things I think I should do, He shows me the things He knows I must do...
