Hi I'm Elizabeth

I believe in the power of a smile. I want others to be happy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up I moved quite often because my Dad was in the Air Force. Each move was scary, but being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints always provided me with immediate friends who encouraged me to endure. It was the power of a simple smile that allowed me to feel accepted and loved. It was the power of a smile that kept me happy! I am a student studying Exercise Physiology. My goal is to receive my Masters in Occupational Therapy and become a Hand and Wrist Therapist. Although it's a lot of work, I enjoy learning about what I believe is one of God's greatest creations- the human body. I am always overly amazed at the wonders found in the body that work in such perfect harmony together. Never has man made anything that could compare to this beautiful and strong creation. I love to smile and laugh and even wink. I know there is power in love. I show love through smiling, laughing, and winking. Its a small gesture that has lasting effects. I also love to sing out loud, and dance. Dancing has always been a part of me. When I was younger I remember forcing my little sister to make up dances to old country songs with me. That never stopped...even in High School on the Dance/Drill Team I choreographed routines. I really enjoy family activities such as hiking, snowboarding, boogie boarding, and playing board games. My favorite chore in the whole world is doing laundry!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because this church contains the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I never feel empty and never have a question that can't be answered. I feel of my Heavenly Father's love and my Savior's love for me each and every day. I know where I came from, why I am on Earth, and where I'm going after this life. The gospel of Jesus Christ provides a beautiful path I can walk to return back to my Heavenly Father. This gospel teaches me how to come unto Christ and be perfected in him. I followed Christ's example and was baptized by priesthood authority and now strive to live worthy of him so that through his Atonement I can repent daily, I can always find guidance, I can be comforted, and I can be healed. I know that no matter where life takes me I never have to change my beliefs and never have to search for a new church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is exactly the same all around the world. Its Christ's Church, and is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by acknowledging everyone around me as a son or daughter of God. I treat people how I want to be treated. I dress and act in the best manner I can so people around me can see that I am a disciple of Christ. I have served in the church in many ways. I have lead the music in the meeting where families come and worship Jesus Christ together on Sunday's. I loved the opportunity I was given to teach children of all ages in their classes at church. I served in our women's organization quite a bit too. I taught the lesson occasionally, organized activities, and trained other women to teach lessons. The most recent service I've been a part of is full-time missionary work. I am currently a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Knoxville Tennessee.
