Hi I'm Veronique "Nikki" Galvan.

I was born and raised in Arizona. I am persuing a career in Music Therapy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have two hobbies, eating and singing. Music has always been a huge passion in my life, and i have been blessed not only to sing with highly talented individuals, I have had the opportunity to sing in amazing venues such as Carnegie Hall, New York. Food, I just simply cannot get enough of. I love every ethinicity, meat, flavors, you name it!

Why I am a Mormon

Families can stay together forever. That message planted the seed of my first testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My family has always been very, very close. However, when i was 16 my mother left. Of course in my adolenscent years, I decided to run away from my problems instead of solving them. I could never deal with the reality of what my mother did. Fortunately I was blessed with a remarkable Grandmother, who from the beginning, taught me how to become strong and face challenges. She is literally the reason who I am today. As a member of the church, she planted the same morals and values into her childrens lives. I deeply embraced them once I was able to straighten out my life. Another blessing of which I will always be eternally grateful for, is having two best friends as members of the church. It was because of them and their invitation to join that I was able to learn of Heavenly Father's plan. For my first Sabbath evening activity, we went to the Visitor's Center, where my testimony was born. I knew the church had to be true. I knew Heavenly Father loves not only myself but all of us, and He does not ignore our struggles. He aids us when we are in need. From then on, I have been baptized and fully active in the church from age 18.

How I live my faith

I currently have one calling, and that is the Relief Society's (womens) Music Specialist. I get to research and share the message taught in each hymn to my sisters. Recently, I have began to search for others in my ward that have any need I could help them with. Mostly it is for the sisters I home teach, but I have branched out to other sisters I come across.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?
