Hi I'm Isabelle

I am a mom who loves reading, watching movies, crafting, sewing and pinterest. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Tacoma and Puyallup Washington. Although my parents were divorced, I grew up having great relationships with my them and my siblings. After I got married my husband and I went away to school at Brigham Young University - Idaho where I received my Bachelors in Sociology. I now have a three-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son. My husband and I were apartment managers for a few years which was quite an adventure. We love the beautiful Western Washington region and are looking forward to raising our family here. I love reading, painting, sewing, browsing pinterest.com, watching movies, going out to eat, taking naps, camping, and trying out new recipes.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were not raised Mormon; however, they both joined as teenagers/young adults. They are the only members of our church in our extended family. My parents taught me the teachings of my church. Growing up I have had many experiences which confirmed that the things I had been taught were correct. My personal experiences have confirmed my belief in the reality of God, in Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world, the authenticity of The Book of Mormon as ancient scripture, and the reality of living Prophets on earth today. I am a Mormon because I have found, through my own experiences, that the teachings of this church are the same things that Jesus Christ taught while he was on the earth. And by following and living those teachings we can be happy and live a fulfilling, meaningful life.

How I live my faith

Living your faith is a personal thing and for me it means that I try my best to be the kind of person God would want me to be. I try to emulate the teachings of Jesus Christ. I teach my children about God, Jesus Christ and living Prophets. We pray and read scriptures in our home.
