Hi I'm Stephanie

I'm a mother, I'm a Mac and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 40 year old wife and mom to 3 crazy kids, 1 pug dog and a cat. I am finishing up my degree in Web Graphic Design as well as help my husband run a small business. I have no spare time at the moment, but I remember that I used to like playing music, going to the movies, hanging out with family and friends, and watching sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints by great parents. However, during my early young-adult years I became lazy at living my faith. It didn't take too long to figure out that I was not happy living this life, but was too afraid to face the Lord. In a night of tearful reflection during this time, I chastised my Heavenly Father for continuing to pursue me. "Don't you have someone else more important to worry about and bother?" I literally asked out loud. To the deepest part of my soul, I bear testimony that I heard my Savior clearly, but tenderly reply, "No. I died for you." It has been over 20 years since this experience and I am so thankful to my Heavenly Father that He didn't give up on me. I am blessed to have a husband who joined the church and took me to the Temple to be sealed for Time and Eternity. We have 3 great children who continually teach us that family IS the foundation of the Lord's Gospel and His Plan of Happiness.

How I live my faith

Many people feel they can be a good Christian without organized religion, but I feel that participating actively in an organized way helps me better live my faith. It provides opportunities to serve others that isolation simply can't afford. I have had many callings within the Church. Most recently I taught 4 year olds but was just released and called to teach 16 year old girls. I have seen miracles brought about by the simple acts of service and love that members give to each other in an attempt to live the example Christ gave us.
