Hi I'm Kirsten

I'm a Mormon. I was born in Utah, but grew up in Mesa, Arizona. I run a foster care and adoption agency.

About Me

I'm an Arizona girl who loves my family, friends and all things pretty! I love traveling to new places, reading a good book and creating things. I graduated from BYU and now work in Social Services running a foster care and adoption agency. I love being part of making sure children in need have a safe home and people to love them. I'm a single member of the church in my 30's, which is not at all what I had planned. But, I have faith that my life will work out the way it is supposed to as long as I'm doing everything I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel blessed to have been born to parents who were married in the temple and raised our family in the church. I grew up going to church every Sunday, having Family Home Evening on Monday nights, family scriptures every day and family prayer morning and night. Going to church was expected in my family, but I never felt forced because I know it's true. I have prayed about the Book of Mormon and the truthfulness of the gospel and I know it's true. The gospel brings me peace and true joy. Even when life gets hard, which it inevitably does, I know I have a Father in Heaven and an older brother, Jesus Christ, who love me!

How I live my faith

I believe living my faith has to do with the little things. My day always goes better when I read my scriptures and pray. I also like to have scriptures or favorite quotes in places like my bathroom mirror or by my computer at work to help me through my days. I work with the youth at church and I love it! Most of the time it seems they teach me more than I teach them. Life is a blessing and my knowledge of the gospel helps to remind me of this each day!
