Hi I'm Tami

I've scuba dived with sharks but the thrill in my life is being a mother of two boys & wife to a wonderful husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be active. I can keep up with all of my boys and husband as we snow ski together. They have passed me up when it comes to wake boarding but I love to watch them jump the wake and try their tricks. My husband and I love to ride our road bikes several times a week and have even entered a race or two. I also play on a competitive tennis team. These are a few of the things I do to stay active. I have two fantastic boys that bring so much joy and happiness to my life and a wonderful husband that is always doing amazing acts of service for me. My extended family is pretty terrific as well and we really enjoy getting together with both sides of the family. Our family loves to travel and see new places and have new experiences.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were very influential in my life. I grew up in the church and saw my parents delight in serving and loving those around them. My dad seemed so happy to do any service for the church and would spend time with me answering questions about the gospel. I could see that their happiness was directly related to following the example of the Savior and giving service to others. I found that to be true in my own life. The gospel of Jesus Christ brings me peace and happiness. There is great joy in knowing that my family relations extend beyond this earth life. I feel like being a better and more Christlike person as I read the Book of Mormon. I also feel very happy as I am able to serve others. My oldest son is a great example of service, he is currently serving a mission for our church in Mexico City. I see the joy he feels as he loves and serves the people in Mexico.

How I live my faith

I have the greatest opportunity to rub shoulders with hundreds of fantastic, talented and dedicated women. They all belong to the Relief Society organization that has as it's motto "Charity Never Faileth" . The Relief Society organizations purpose is to strengthen women and their families and to reach out and help those in need. I serve in this organization and feel very grateful for the service I see so many women perform for others each and every day. In addition to serving in the Relief Society organization, I pray daily, I read the scriptures, attend the temple and try to become more Christlike in my actions.
